Adriano Truscott has worked in multilingual education for almost 20 years, specialising in Indigenous education and languages for over a decade. He has been involved in research into cultural linguistics, documentation and revival of Indigenous Languages, and teacher training on English as an Additional Language/Dialect. He has a deep belief in, and published articles on, language rights and advocacy in Australia and beyond. His work in Australian Aboriginal education has been recognised in a number of state and national awards, and he currently works for the Department of Education, Western Australia as a primary school principal.
